  • Wholesale baby clothing

Hi can anybody help me find a baby clothing wholesaler in the UK that doesn't charge a fortune or have a MOQ of 1000 peices! I'm looking for bibs, socks, bodysuits, blankets and towels for my nappy cakes. They obviously need to be of a good quality. I'm just finding that so far on my search that a lot of 'wholesalers' are just charging the same rrp price rather than trading prices. I found a few places in China that charge a good price but their minimum order quantities are 1000 peices any less than that and you might as well buy the same stuff here as it goes up in price for smaller quantities plus shipping etc.

    many thanks in advance

I've used http://www.cardiffcashandcarry.com/ in the past - their minimum order is fairly low and they dropship too.

Would you be interested in adding my website to your links? And likewise... I'll add you to my website? We both do baby things... but we are both different?

I don't know if this answer will be any use to you, but I'll have a go!

Years back, I used to make children's clothes, and I bought fabrics and trimmings wholesale from places in Manchester. In the same area there were a lot of wholesale places, many of them selling children's clothing and babywear. They may be online these days, try googling Manchester and babywear, etc.

If you want to drive down on the offchance for a look round, there were loads of places around the Stangeways Prison area. Not sure of the area names or roads, but they were all close to the prison, and as a landmark, you can't miss it!!

Make sure you take your proofs of trading with you, in case you need them to be allowed to shop there (er, the wholesalers, not the prison...)

I don't actually know if these places are still there anymore, it was about 20 years ago that I last went there. I can't remember where you live, I'm sure you're within driving distance but depends on how busy you are, I suppose.

Good luck in your search, your babycakes are stunning
