Your Misi shop is lovely and colourful Terri! Hope you do well.

I've just opened a Misi shop too: http://www.misi.co.uk/store_info.php?user_id=2823

After having my first couple of sales on Folksy it gave me the encouragement to try out something different. Only got one item listed on Misi so far though.

I have also just opened a MISI one but as said the traffic compared to Etsy seems pretty low. We'll wait and see how it goes. Good luck with yours

I keep meaning to join etsy but I'm a bit dubious about having to sign up with card details straight away and also posting to america and things although it seems more and more UK people are joining.... Maybe next week hehe.

Well done on your MISI shop Terri! I have one of everything noe - MISI, Folksy, Etsy and Ebay! The listing prices on most of them is pretty low so I think it's worth trying everything. You do need to keep updating your shop, adding new listings and and doing bits of self promotion I think to get the best out of them.

                    Good luck!!!

How do you self promote on MISI? It's a nightmare finding anything on it compared to Etsy/

I have sold a few things to the States on Etsy and there wasn't any problem other than it takes ages to get there even airmail. I always have a conversion table open when listing anything as it is all in dollars

                        Hi All

Well done on your new MISI shop Terri. I'm new to this forum *waves at everyone* and I set-up my shop on MISI on Sunday so I'm a newbie there too.

Have you had much interest or viewings? I've had about the same amount of viewings as my ebay listings but it's still early days.

Katianne - I'd love to hear what site you find the best for Sales out of the ones you list on? Or shall I just go for it and list on all of them too? In for a penny, in for a pound and all that

Great to find such a fab forum though and looking forward to chatting with you all in the future!

                        Vicki xx

                          Hi Vicki

I sell mainly through my Ebay Shop, in fact I'd say that 99% of my sales are through Ebay. I've sold 2 items on Folksy and 1 on MISI so far, but I believe it's worth maintaining my shops as these things take time. Both are reasonable in terms of their listing prices and act as another way of getting your work known, so I figure just go for it!

Re: Etsy, I haven't sold anything yet but I've only just started my shop up again. I know there are a few members on the forum that have had lots of sales through Etsy, but you do really need to work at promoting your shop and your listings. E.g. get involved in the forums, post pictures of your new listings, list on a regular basis, add others to your favourites.

                          All the best with it!

I just updated my pictures on misi, I think they look a bit more professional now, let me know what you think!
I've also just joined coriandr, anyone else on there? the layout and navigation seems a bit better than misi but I've yet to list things and I've not seen much feedback anywhere about it?
