I made earrings ou tof some a while back and found they split at the wholes. These were very small so If you made them bigger they might work. The best thing to do is try one and use it for a couple of weeks and see how it holds up. I think they may be a little brittle though and you will have to seal the pic you put on them."You've Got to Keep Your Mind Wide Open" - AnnaSophia Robb

I'm a bit of a worryer when it come to making things I always have to test drive my products first. I made a peg and bead braclet once I wore it none stop for 8 months never took it off the beads started to disintigrate. plastic pony beads don't last. OH said they'l be ok to sell people aren't gonea wear them to death like you do.
was a bit concernd but I thought for the price and selling them to kids they would prob lose them befor they broke.
Do you think 8 months was long enough?

Very thorough, well done.
Have to admit I did some acetate picture experiments to see how they do in the sun.I stuck a picture on my work window last March and Ive just seen its not there anymore.Need to find it and compare it with the other half I kept in the dark.
See, Ive been a*sing about with a project for nearly a year!
I wore one of my necklaces the other day and it lasted the 2 hours I wore it, phew.https://folksy.com/shops/GrimmExhibition

I'm the same! Always like to test drive new designs before I sell them! I'm so paranoid about things breaking!

I begins like sheets of acetate, coloured or clear and you can rubber stamp on it or draw pictures on it, cut it to the right shape then using a heat gun, heat it up and it shrinks, making the inks used much more vibrant and basically making the piece you made smaller. If you put a hole in int pre shrinking you can attatch it to things.
I just experimented with my keyring, I twisted the split ring against the shrinkles and it snapped.https://folksy.com/shops/GrimmExhibition

The web site says you can use them as key fobs but recomend a certain distance in for hole. http://www.shrinkles.com/"You've Got to Keep Your Mind Wide Open" - AnnaSophia Robb
