  • Anyone fancy trying their hands at ATC's?

    Hi all

We've got an ATC swap thread going on herehttp://www.craftsforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=26347 and it'd be fab to have some more of you lovely crafters joining in.

ATC stands for Artist's Trading Card and it's a way to showcase your work, the idea is that rather than sell them, you swap with other artists/crafters. There's a lot more info on the thread, but it would be lovely to have some more people involved, so come on over & say hello

I'd join in but my crafting is on hold until this baby decides to make an appearence! Don't want quilling paper all over the house when I'm trying to get to grips with sleepless nights and nappies!

        Please may I join!
I was so disappointed for not being available to join first time and having seen the standard of work am not sure I am in the same league..... but would love to give it a go nevertheless as long as whoever gets whatever I make is gentle or at least gently critical

          Don't put yourself down *hugs*

I have been working on the basis that while the overall "picture" may not appeal - cant please all the people all the time - someone may look at something I have done and think how they could use part of it, or modify it in some way for their own work too!

Oh, and I have had three so far.. all wildly different, and it is as much fun opening them and getting the surprise!

Anyone & everyone is welcome to join in, as Laura rightly put it, it's about sharing ideas, giving inspiration & sharing what we do, it's not a competition in any way shape or form and most importantly it's about fun.

I wanted to start another thread in case anyone had seen the other thread and somehow felt they couldn't join in as it was already up & running, but not at all, it's an ongoing thing, you can do as many or as few as you want, send them to me & I'll send you one back.

It's been amazing seeing all the different ideas that people have and it definitely makes you look at your own work in a different way and possibly re-think some ideas, best of all, as Sparkysdad said, it's great when the postie comes with your new ATC, so exciting

Just pm me for my address if & when you want to join in the fun

                Jan x

I fully intended to join in with this but having made one attempt which didn't turn out great I think I'll give it a miss.

I just can't seem to think in miniature, let along work in miniature

I've enjoyed looking over the other thread at everyone's ATC's
