    Hello folks!

I've just made these earrings, but as I don't wear earrings I'd like to swap them for something. I don't have anything in particular in mind, so what have you got?

I won't be too offended if no-one is tempted...

        ooooh....I'd love them...and I have soap..

You can have a chunk of CP Soap in:

After Eight - Chocolate and Peppermint
Bittersweet Symphony - Jasmine & Lemongrass
Liquid Love - Pomegranate & Neroli

Or you can have a 30ml (EDIT: that's not very generous for your lovely earrings - it's meant to be 340ml) Tub of whipped shea butter in any fragrance on this page:

                Wow! beautiful earrings.

But things have changed a lot now I'm not around here as much as I used to be. Swaps didn't used to be allowed to be done openly but it was ok if it was all done via PM's.

                What changed your mind Peter?

seems like a good idea to do swops if it's allowed.

Its been agreed in many previous discussions by the forum members that we all think its a good idea however the powers that be (ie - the mods) have looked into it each time a discussion has arisen and decided its not viable to condone it because of possible legal implications or something like that.

There are loads of old threads about this subject and most seem to have come to the conclusion that if you want to do swaps between forum members, it should be a private arrangement that is done via private messages and not openly on threads.

Yes - I'm coming across as the party pooper here but unless the mods come on and say differently, that's what the rules are.

                      I will now go and hide behind the sofa . . . . .

This was a one off that Madly Creating PMd me about, not a precedent. Since when were we a democracy?

I don't expect the forum to be a democracy, just thought it would be even-handed.

PS - not getting at you, MC -I personally agree that a swap shop would be great.
