  • Things are going too well I don't like it!

    Well where do I start?

I was wondering yesterday about getting some models to have real children in jewellery on my site, but I have no money, then 3 seconds later my cousin emails me to say she is doing a casting for her business (toys) and would I like to join in!? For free!!! YAY

Then today I sent off my items to go intoan editorial feature Crafts Beautiful are doing.

Then I get an email for a very posh Turkish Magazine who also want to show my jewellery and could I supply some images (you bet ya I can)

Finally I get an invoice for an advert in June's Easy Living magazine The Price? NOTHING a BIG FAT ZERO! I told her I could not afford to advertise, seems she needed to fill a page and has put me in for free!!!

Something is going to have to wrong soon...............

Oh I almost forgot I got 2 commisions this week aswell, both rather challenging arrrrgh!

I couldn't agree more with the first line - we've had various comments from associates and clients in all sorts of businesses that things are (slowly) picking up. A bit, at least.

And fantastic news - I hope your run of good luck continues! If it does, you're going to have an excellent summer, business-wise!

There's an old phrase that's all too true - don't look a gift horse in the mouth!!!

It's all going so well because of the amount of effort, blood, sweat & tears you've put in - it's not luck, just ruddy hard work

Give yourself a pat on the back and an extra glass of wine / bar of choccie (not both, that would be tooo norty) - you desrve it.
