  • Thank you Scorch

Just wanted to show you the lovely gifts that Scorch made for me recently, we did a swap as my hubby was able to provide her with some plastic she needed and she kindly offered to do some pyrography for me, I asked for either something for my daughter - a bangle or a bookmark and a keyring for hubby and this is what I got:

    Kev's keyring:

    A bookmark for Georgia:

    a stunning bracelet for Georgia:

And an extra surprise, a keyring for lil' ol' me

How fab are they? I gave Tracey some ideas of what Kev & Georgia liked & she did the rest, we were all delighted with our goodies & I just wanted to share them with you.

Thanks again Tracey, your work is fab (and there's another parcel winging it's way to you )

    xx

One of the many things I love about this forum is how members help each other out in so many ways, I'm always happy to try and help another member along because I know I'll recieve the help & support I may need at another time. I also love being able to tap in the amazing crafting skills on here & if you want an item, there will be someone who can make it for you, beautifully.

Oh, thank you, Jan, for all those kind words! So nice of you to say this! I'm always happy to to swap pyro work for blanks & such - it's a nice way to do things.

I'm just really pleased you and your family liked them. Glad that Kev didn't think that using his initial on the Lotus badge was sacrilege - I worried about that a bit! And I'm really SO pleased that Georgia liked the bracelet, as I completely made that one up as I went along.

Actually, would you mind if I posted pics of them on my site (if I EVER get it updated) and Flickr? I have scans of all of them bar the bracelet, as that's the wrong shape to scan, and I never got round to taking a photo. I might just have to make another one of those for sale, I was so pleased with how it turned out!

My beloved's hard at work on one of the pieces of plastic you sent me, milling me out a seed-bead-designing tray. I feel quite guilty, as making all the little weeny parallel grooves is taking him just aaaaaages! I'm gonna have to get around to making him that office door sign I promised him, in return...

And thank you very much for a extra parcel-to-come in the future, too. That's most kind of you, really. Yay - more cool bits of plastic to play with!
                      Cheers,
                      Scorch

More than happy for you to post pics on your site I can't say enough how delighted Georgia was with her bracelet, you got it spot on & she hasn't stopped wearing it. She's been having a tough time of things lately and she loved both the bookmark & the bracelet but her face just lit up when she saw the bracelet, and that made my day - so I really can't thank you enough for that

                        love Jan xxx

Thanks - that's great! I know it's sheer cheek, but you couldn't email me the pics of the bracelet for me to sneakily use, could you? It's just that I didn't get a chance to take pics of that, and I really do like it... pleeeease?

I'm just SO pleased that Georgia liked it too!
