Toy Regulations advice please?

I've started in-depth research into toy safety regulations. I'm planning to start selling wooden toys and stuffed textile toys. Does anyone else make toys on here? Do you test them yourself or get a company to test them? Do you have product insurance? Do you have any advice for me? I'm determined not to let the vastness of the regulations put me off and stop me from achieving my ambitions.

Best to phone your local Trading Standards - they'll advise you what tests are required.

If you are thinking of selling to the US then you will need to research CPSIA which is a new law brought out in the US.
