  • Ive spent a fortune

I bought loads of craft stuff yesterday.I had my credit card statement through and I didint owe a thing.Must have paid for everything via paypal so I went a bit nuts.Admittedly it was only about £30 but I still feel guilty.
My guilt is only eased slightly as when I paid for one of the purchases there was a 'would you like to donate money to comic relief' option so I did that.It only eases my guilt a bit.

    Anybody else feeling guilty?

It's craft stuff. It'll always come in handy, honest, so don't feel guilty. I've got some stuff that I've put away for use 'later' and later hasn't happened yet. It's been there for a few years.....

I feel guilty sometimes when I buy crafty stuff because I'm not always honest with OH about how much I've spent. My daughter purchased a big Red Nose for 'our' car and yesturday she noticed that it has be nicked can you believe it!!!!

I always feel guilty what ever I spend but it doesnt stop me! I probably do spend a bit too much, and if it's a craft item I always justify it, no matter what the expense. Would help if I actually sold something!

No, don't feel guilty or it'll take the fun out of what you do. If anyone ever says 'what did you get that for' etc, it makes me feel a bit silly so I try not to say it to anyone else, spoils your bit of happiness...enjoy it, make something wonderful (whenever you want!) and be happy

It is less than 10% of what Autumn Faerie was planning on spending yesterday!
It's done now so don't ruin it by feeling guilty - just make sure you create awesome stuff and make some money

just be glad you don't make soap! I can spend that much on a litre of oil, before I even think about essential oils

I daren't go out now for crafty items, luckily I found a huge stash of fabric in the loft recently so that took away the urge to buy things. We don't actually have any spare money for crafty stuff at the mo due to my car being in the garage all week resulting in a four figure bill yesterday! My hubby and I had a stiff drink last night to get over the shock!

I suppose its beacuse I have ideas and when they dont work out how i want them too the bits sit in a draw for ages and I dont get full use out of them.
I will try not to feel guilty. It doesnt get me anywhere and I could make something that somebody else may absolutely love.
