A handy tip ...

To ensure you get the right colouring (especially on coloured card/paper) place an empty CD case or piece of acetate over your card and apply colour to it, you can see how its going to look on your card before you apply it.

Great advice, I always try my glass over a piece of wood before I actually cut or glue it, it never looks the same as when I buy it though!
