Craft fayre this evening and it was a very good experience. The people that were exhibiting were very friendly....the staff at the garden centre were very nice and I amazingly made some sales. I sold 2 pendants and a necklace. I gave out loads of cards and I was very please with the positive response I had to my jewellery and there was competition there!
I had my sister and my cousin with me and we had a lovely time together. We finished the evening off with a bottle of wine when we got home. >insert slightly tipsy smilie here...lol < I am feeling all nice and sleepy now so I will say good evening to you all and I feel positive about doing craft events in the future now

Yes it was me and I don't know why I was worried. It was nice and light, so I could have driven but I didn't have to drive myself anyway as my cousin volunteered to take me through. She had a whale of a time there. She got to weave some wool into thread on a spinning wheel and then she had a wee go at basket weaving and finally she couldn't resist buying a knitted chicken as a present for her mum. My sis also came along and we met this couple who have a family home in Italy, so we had a blether about where we all came from and the different wines there (we are half Italian).
Dobbies supplied us with tea and shortbread. The shortbread was to die for....no small portions there!
So yes I had a very positive experience
