New Year's Resolutions - broken any yet?

Well, I only made three new year's resolutions this year and already I've broken one!

Mine were:

1) Not to buy any more supplies or projects until I've completed more of the half-finished projects I have waiting my attention.

2) To sort through my massive stack of cross stitch magazines and scan the charts I want before having a clear out.

3) To re-use as many envelopes and packaging when sending out stuff I sell.

I'm sure you've guessed which one I've broken - yep, the first! Wasn't intending to but saw some lovely yarn and knitting pattern in local shop and had to succumb. I've got two half-finished projects in my knitting bag already and no room to put this new one in. Why, oh why, oh why.....

Anybody else broken any new year's resolutions before the end of January?!

The only new year's resolution I made this year was to start eating healthier, exercising and lose weight - it all started off fairly well until I had to go into hospital on 16th January for some fairly major surgery on my stomach to repair a hiatus hernia, a valve in my stomach and damage to my diaphragm, since then it's kind of gone out the window.

I'm on a liquid diet with lots of restrictions for six weeks... so I guess that could be classed as healthy eating? But I'm not allowed to exercise for six weeks so can't tone up my tummy, etc.

I'm just hoping that once my 'recovery period' is over that I can stick to healthy eating and not end up going back to my old ways... I'm worried that I'll start eating all the 'naughty' foods again because I'm allowed to

Oh well, guess we'll have to wait and see.

It might even count as 4 if there was fruit in the muller light!

Alas it was a vanilla and chocolate one, i do have a packet of fruit pastels for this afternoon, that should do the trick!

Thank you... once I start to feel a little better I'm hoping to use this as a good reason to spend lots more time crafting

I'm supposed to be going the gym 3 times a week but I've only managed once this week as my kids have very kindly given me a nasty bug.
I'm also supposed to be cutting down on cappucinos and sugar but not doing too well on that either.

did not make them so have not broken any. Always break them anyway. No will power or self control!

My 2 new years resolutions were to be more tidy and to loose a stone and a half.well......

I 've broken the first one already. Craft room is in a right mess, going to give it a bit of a tidy up again today.
but i've joined slimming world and already lost 8 lbs so i'm really chuffed. Lets hope i can keep it up!!!!XXXXXXX
