  • I can't believe it!!!!

No I can't believe it, after thinking where I live is a black hole that few have heard of, I was watching a film last night on BBC2 called "Kinky Boots" and part of it was filmed on our pier. It even said at the end "filmed on location in.......Clacton-on-Sea"

I was totally dumbfounded. I don't remember the filming going on, even though at the time I lived overlooking the pier!!!!

Did anyone else see it???? or perhaps it was another of my weird dreams

    Hi

I have seen Kinky boots in the past I can't really remember a pier and I wouldn't know if it was Clacton, so I'm not much help.

    Liked the film tho!

Yep, it was the coloured guy dancing on the pier, as a child and then later in the film as an adult.

The window his father banged on is part of the cafe on the end part of the pier!

That is one of my favourite films ever. It's great when you see a familiar place in a film or on tv, gives a whole new perspective!

I went to clacton on sea for a summer holiday with my parents in 1965 so I doubt if I would recognise it now
