  • Ebay frenzy!!

Hello, my name is Seahorse and Im a bid-aholic.

I have about 3 things on the go on ebay at the moment, charms, film cells, watch glass and im sure there is something else!!
I really should make a list.

Im not usually this frivilous.Im in a 'I want I want I want' mode and if I find it and people want mony I will pay.

    I know I shouldnt..but..I kinda like it!!

Anybody else spending their kids inheritance on ebay crafty goodies?

It's a good job I haven't got any kids because the way I spend on Ebay.. and pretty much any other website that holds craft stock they would be living in a hedge now, never mind in the future!
It's great to know that I am not the only one!

Can you believe i receieved an ebay item even before id sent a chque off to pay for it!!
I feel so special that someone found me trustworthy enough to send them pre payment.
There arnt many people in this world that would do that.

          Seahorse,

I think you should start a support group for bidaholics - I'll join if you do

I spend far too much money on ebay, I always check it out if I'm planning to buy anything, from beading stuff to TVs and catflaps!

          Happy bidding!!

A big tip is to look for words spelt incorrectly - Coronation ware is often spelt Cornation ware - hubby has picked up lots of bargains that way! However, not many people spell Manalo Blahnik or Jimmy Choo wrong - I can dream though!!

Once again I just had an adrenaline filled few seconds as I bid on some ebay bits that I really wanted, I waited til teh last 40 seconds, upped my bid and crossed my fingers and I won!!
Im sure I spent too much on the items but they are very decoratiove and will go brilliantly with other bits I won last week to make a beautiful steampunk necklace(which Il no doubt want to keep), or more than one necklace hopefully so ican make the money back.

Must be something in the air as I'm the same just now, I've won about a dozen items in the last few days and lost one.

Have to stop or my paypal account will be empty soon at this rate.
Decided enough was enought this morning and logged in and deleted everything on my watching list

I seem to go through phases where I don't buy anything for ages then I get the bug again and have a bidding frenzy

                    love love love ebay!

Had some fabby bargains off there, and have started looking more locally for the bigger items to save on postage - which has been working out brilliantly for me!

Definitely an ebay addict here too!

I love ebay too, in fact I've just come from there after browsing and adding items to my watch list for hours
I spend far too much, but there's just too many tempting craft goodies on there...I'm almost as addicted to ebay as I am to here...

yep am having an ebay time at the mo too! keep buying topper sheets and kanban card and loads of beads to make my phone charms at the mo! Was bidding on a couple of dresses too but was good and actually stopped when they got a bit higher than I had hoped.
Must sell some other stuff off to compensate!
love it! love it! love it! especially when you beat someone else to it in the last few seconds ha ha! thats not my best side coming out is it??!

Another one who spends way to much time on e-bay........

I like it that I can get mannequins etc that have been used and are a hell of a lot cheaper than brand new!
