  • is this really sad ???

we sold loads of personalised bookmarks for christmas and I'm now working on easter ones
however all my alphabet beads are just in one box and as my new year resolution was to be more organised I have am just spending ages putting them in separate compartments in my new bead bag which is fantastic, it has little pockets on the outside for pliers etc and comes with five of those little compartment boxes which all stack inside the bag
I'm having lots of fun organising my bead collection but perhaps I am just a little bit sad lol

I like going through my beads and remembering what I've got. You're not mad at all

I don't think it's mad or sad or anything else derrogatory - I love going through my crafty bits cos I quite often come across things that I forgot I had or get inspiration for new ideas while I'm sorting so I say go for it

Nah, you're fine sunrise! Take the time to organise things now and it'll be quicker and easier to find things later. I took ages to sort out all my card and paper stock into colours, then other decoupage, stickers and stamps into categories in separate boxes etc...while you're doing it, it also reminds you what you've got. Have fun!

Not sad at all. I've spent the last week tidying up and reorganising craft stuff, and the last couple of days sorting through the used greeting cards (left from last year) which are to be recycled - I haven't finished yet and will be having another session today hopefully.

In software, it even has a name! We call it 'refactoring': looking back at old code and changing it's shape to help us be more efficient when we make code in the future which uses the old stuff. Often we find things we'd forgotten were there and make it more available for future use.

So you're not sad, just 'refactoring'
If I ever make anything good enough to sell, I'll want to keep it!

Oooh! Think I going to spend the day 'refactoring' - I'm sure my OH will think it's something really inportant!!

Organising my beads and workspace has been on my To Do list for ages. It'll get done when it gets done

refactoring!!! I'm sure if I told friends I had been doing that I would get some very strange looks and raised eyebrows.

Sunrise, you are not sad, if things are organised it makes life easier. All my crafts bits are organised, just wish the rest of my life was

youve inspired me to go through my bead box and sort it all out! Thank you very much! I thought id run out of black seed beads, which i use a lot, but by going through all the compartments, i managed to find enough to make a bracelet, but now im in tidying up/sorting out mode, im going to rearrange the furniture in my room...... i just need to get out of bed and off the computer!
I like to make things - usually a mess!
Please look at my stuff and let me know what you think!
