  • MISI last 2 days

Hi,Just a reminder for those of you thinking of joining MISI.co.uk there are only 2 days left for free item listing and shop header artwork - come and join the fun - it has only been up and running a few months but most of us are starting to have sales, i had another sale a couple of days ago, which never happens for me just after Christmas. Emma (Misi) is starting a major site advertizing campagne in JanuaryHappy New Year

Ooh I'm so tempted by this!
I don't have the time to do it though, I work 55-60 hours a week!
Somebody please convince me either way

Hi! Perhaps I've misunderstood the MISI site - I've only just found it - but in its FAQ section it says:

"What about charges for Selling on Misi after January?

Misi will remain free for joining, buying and chatting. If you would like to list an item for sale after January you will be charged a small listing fee of 20p per item no matter how big or small the item is. This will be added to your account when you list an item.
Listings will stay on the site for 5 Months at a time after January. "

This implies to me that it will only start to cost for listings posted after January, i.e. it'll still be free to list items in January.

If anyone could advise further I'd be grateful - I've just opened a MISI shop and listed 16 items, but have got more to list. I was going to leave them for a later day, but if it'll start costing me ...

Regardless - it looks an impressive site/scheme. Easy to use, good appearance etc., if it starts to generate a few sales I'll happily pay the listing price in addition to the 3%

Ah, can't answer that for sure as I am only a seller but Misi is a twitter and there is a post there about fees come Jan 1st - the link is below http://twitter.com/Misi_uk I am still going to keep this up even with the 20 p listing fee if it generates sales. It has only been live since October and so far has had no advertizing other than word of mouth. The other sellers are really friendly and supportive and Emma (Misi) is hands on being a fellow crafter so knows the kind of things her sellers want.

Great to hear there will be some advertising in the New Year - Folksy have been promising that for ages, but haven't seen any evidence of it and they've all gone very quiet on the subject. Any idea what's planned for MISI?

I haven't sold on MISI yet but am more than happy to stick with it as I really like the site and have been seriously impressed at the level of support Emma gives - am sure she must have clones of herself helping out .

Try them now, I've tried to fix them for her. Ain't it handy having a helpful mod around the place?

Each URL also had the craftsforum address in it before your link, which was a bit odd. At least they are working now (hopefully!)
