  • Challenge for 2009

1st 2 pages gessoed and doodled on last night

Yesterday l was emptying all the wastepaper bins in the house and seemed to have a lot of good useable paper waste so l made an art journal from what l had...inspiration hit me for a challenge lol

    CHALLENGE FOR 2009
We throw away so much useable paper decided it would be a good challenge to myself to see how many of these l make (and use) in 2009
ANYONE INTERESTED IN DOING IT WITH ME?

      Your doodling is GORGEOUS!!!
Anyway I would SO be in on this challenge! But I have no idea how to make art journals Is there any help around?

Can you explain some more about what you are going to use yours for and how you made the actual journal?

      I LOVE the idea.

is this a journal using normal scrap and junk mail?
It looks as though you have used a BIA to make yours?
I' think this could be very interesting, what would we have to do?

I have always been addicted to buying the cheap notebooks from garden centers, you know the ones with the pretty covers (DH drreads me going into the centers and coming out with arms of notebooks). Cutting out pictures etc from magazines and pasting them in, got several going back 10 years lovely to sit and browse through for ideas, colours etc when the creativity is stalling a bit.

That's great! I might give it a go, but do something that I can (hopefully) sell for my chosen charity, maybe?
