  • Just bought my new printer!

So sorry if I have this post in the wrong place!

Anyway, I needed a decent printer for wedding invitations and accessories. I had a look online and saw one I really liked. I had a small catalouge sent through from the company and in total for the printer, and VAT, and delivery it would cost £150. The online price was the same.
So, once I had the payment ready I went to order it (on Saturday) they have put the price up on their website and it was going to cost me £170! I was really annoyed. What was the point of sending mags through if they all have the wrong price on them. So I emailed them, and got a very snooty reply this morning saying their website is updated every day and consequently I would have to pay the increased price.
However, being me I make sure I get the very best deal I can. I had a look online and have just bought the exact same printer, with three free colour toner cartridges, and a years free servicing, plus delivery, and all for £132

Sooooooo happy and over the moon. I cannot wait to get it, then I can finish my latest order - for 30 wedding inviations!

I just had to share with you all!!!!!

Good for you they lost the sale because of their increases, obviously the recession is not hitting them! or are they being greedy?

Well done on tracking your new printer down at a cheaper price!! Companies like that do not deserve to keep business

Which printer have you decided to go for?

This is it. I am very happy with it actually. I know it isn't the absolute best on the market, and it is cheap for a laser, but I have read several reviews on several different sites, I have also compared it against several other printers and I feel that it is the best one for me. I don't do a high volume of printing, but when I do it needs to be the best. Hopefully it will provide many years of happy service! Every inkjet I have bought in the last four years have packed in after a matter of months!

Blimey!... £136 to fill it up with ink! (3 colours + black)
Is that the going rate now-a-days? (haven't used a printer for 5 years)
