OMG - are they Anglo Bubblys I can see (top row, 3rd from left)? They were the best bubble blowing gum ever when I was a young un! But they were expensive . . . . . you only got 1 for 1p but you could get 8 Black Jacks or Fruit Salads for 1p.We used to get quite a lot for our 10p mix-ups in the 70's.
Fantastic idea for someone with a sweet tooth - and I would think that you can get all the sweets from the pick n mix range.
Can I have one please?Auntynet

Thats an excellent idea. It can be adapted for different ages. Thankyou.
I have been making boxes for gifts - 6" x 6" x 2"high and decorating them so I can put separators in and put cake cases into them and fill with different fudges for my Aunts. Whooppee, another prob. solved.Carol
God helps them that help themselves.

So I take it yours was less than £7.99?
I saw some of these in a candy shop last weekend, £20 for a big jar of sweets, the thought never occurred to me to make my own! Duh!
What a fab idea, now I am going to quickly steal your idea before you patent it!
