I think that this has probably been discussed before but I couldn't find the thread!
has anyone joined folksy? if so what's it like and do you sell alot of stuff?

Hi. I have joined DaWanda Etsy and Folksy. I have had a couple of sales through Etsy but none through the others, although to be fair I havent really plugged them.

I too have joined Folksy although I'm yet to list any items, but I plan to get my goods on Folksy and Etsy as well as updating the shopping section of my own website by January 09. And I agree the key is to advertise the fact that you have items available on these websites!

I joined Folksy yesterday and am gradually listing my mosaics. No sales as yet but I'd like to say that I really like the site. As a seller it's very straight forward to list and as a buyer the crafts on the website are fantastic!

I'm on etsy , folksy and now misi.me
I have 2 stores on etsy one to sell my jewellery and one for my destash stuff, the destash is doing ok but sadly I think the jewellery gets lost amongst so much other ( and better ) stuff than mine.
I havn't done much with my folksy one, I don't know why but I'm loving misi.me , been there a week and made my 1st sale today.
Just waiting for my domain name on there to be approved so I can link it on here
lovely to sell in UK £ as well.

i joined folksy about 3 weeks ago and have had 3 sales. i found it a bit confusing at first but i think that's just me!

I only signed up yesterday and i've just listed some more stuff today. I agree that it does seem really cool and easy to use. keeping fingers crossed that i'll make a sale !!

I have just tried searching for my calendars, prints and cards and the same thing is happening, my stuff is just not coming up when I search using the key words

Misi.me seems to be quite good for a small site,there's a few names on there I know already and some I didn't.
I already have my eye on a lampshade on there,like any new site there's a few improvements that could help it but they do seem to listen to what people are asking for and helping if they can.Plus I love the blog on there.

I need to put a bit more effort into my folksy now, my stuff doesn't seem to get as many hits on there as it does on misi.me or even etsy
