If you go into your User CP (top left corner) and then into edit options you can select invisible mode, no-one will then know you're online or what you're doing. No-one that is except us mods...you can run from us but you can't hide

I never knew about invisible mode - you learn something new everyday.

Maybe I should go invisible so it looks like I am not on CF as often as I really am, but then as the mods know all I may as well not bother!!

oh I don't think any of us ment to be sarky and I apologise if you took it wrong........,I didn't I just saw a bit of humour in the question ,maybe I have a warped sense of humour ....I do think the rule of thumb here as with all other forums thou is to be polite and not take a little bit of joke to heart
We all help each other out whether it be with craft problems, personal highs and lows or just to have a moan....we are nice ....honest !!

I didn't see it as sarcasm....................it's difficult on a forum to actually 'see' the other person, so you can only take the words at face value - it's a trick that takes a long time sitting in front of a computer to master! It does sometimes help to read your posts a couple of times to see if they could be 'taken the wrong way'. Back to the plot...........................

My comment "you think" was supposed to be jokey, but I look back now, and that could have been taken the wrong way so I apologise

Back to the original question - my name is always on - I think it is because I don't log out, I just turn off my computer which means that I also don't have to log in each time I just go to Favourites and I am straight in. It looks as though I am on all the time when in fact I am only on 95% of the time. - - Joking - well, almost.
