  • Where do you store your treasures

    Hi guys

    Bit of a weird one.
Where does everyone store their finished creations?
I store my cards and calenders and other papercrafts in cardboard and plastic storage boxes but find storing my finished jewellery a bit of a problem!!
    Any suggestions?

I bought some jewellery boxes that were on offer in the avon catalogue, these hold my bracelets, earrings and phone charms, and then for my necklaces I have some of those jewellery mannequins like this one

I think I got mine from next, but if you look on the avon website they also have them!
I put all these on the windowsill in the spare bedroom out of the way so they won't get damaged

I store all of my finished jewellery in zip lock plastic bags and then in a larger ziplock bag, then in a cardboard box.

Excluding the air ensures that your jewellery will not tarnish

I store all mine in good old grip seal bags like pebbles , then pop all the bags in large plastic lidded tubs from Wilko's ...tub for each ,necklaces, bracelets etc so I know where a specific piece is.

It's the only organized thing in my mess..oops house

For storing my finished earrings (not studs though, lol!) and bracelets I bought a large metal mug tree and its great! I can keep them organised and they dont get damaged either which is always a plus

For necklaces use tissue paper and freezer bags to keep them seperate and then into a storage box

                  Hi

I wrap my jewellery in tissue paperthen into a grip bag. They then go into a toolbx that has all different drawers and components in which I have labelled, nearly finished, completed items etc.
I try to be organised in a house with 3 children, but it doesn't always work out that way.

This is something i NEED to address! I am presently storing my finished stuff, thrown in the bottom of my tool box!! and some in a kitchen drawer.

That is so not good, is it?!

We keep our finished candles wrapped in cellophane and bubble wrap then stored in plastic storage boxes from Wilkos.

Then for my normal cards I have a card carousel which I have the majority of my cards on, each in their own cello bag, but when that gets full they are kept in another Wilkos plastic box until we get to the craft fairs as I've got two table top card stands too.

Our keepsake cards are all boxed, wrapped in cellophane and then stored in yet another plastic box.

I've just started painting with acrylics and water colours but I've no idea where I'll keep those yet lol. A bigger house?

I think all crafters need elastic houses like they have on the soaps...no matter how many people there are in one house at a time theres always enough bedrooms for all,lol
