  • How do I create a blog?

Every day I get a link to JBJB's blog. I love it!!!! She can be so funny!! Now the question is this - How do I go about creating a blog of my own?? I am a bit of a 'don't leave me out sort of person' so I want to join in!!!!I am a bit short in the brains department where computers are concerned (some would say I am just short of brains!!!), so can anyone offer some advice. I haven't a clue where to start!!. Thanks. Sue xx

I didnt have the foggiest what a Blog was until I found these guys Susie and I did the same thing, looked at everyone else's, asked tons of Qs etc but the Blogger instructions are really straightforward so go for it - you'll have the basics of a Blog set up in no time

Then you just add to it as you go along and, more often than not, if you see a funky gadget you like on someone else's Blog (like the stat counters and stuff like that) you can invariably just click on theirs to get linked straight to getting one of your own

to the world of Blogging Susie, its a while since I set mine up so I cant quite drag all the steps from my memory bank but you could learn lots by looking up some of the older posts about Blogs too I guess. Have fun!

I just started a blog a few weeks ago as I felt it was time to drag myself up to speed. It was really easy to create and although I'm still at the basic stage it is a lot of fun. Not sure if i use the tag thing properly but I believe that you use it to highlight what is in the blog post. For example if you've just launched a new line of jewellery which you are showing at a craft fair you could use the tags:, launch, craft fair, jewellery. Get the picture?

I say just go for it! It is really easy to set up and maintain, go and have a play around I found thats the best way to get familiar with everything. I only started mine last month and help out with a group one as well, I think I am totally hooked now.

I've only just started blogging but I think, like Janet, that you use tags to highlight anything special you're posting about, or anything you think you might be able to attract someone's attention with by highlighting.
So I guess it's like a electronic highlighter pen, although I don't know if tags are searchable at all.
