Anyone know where i can get 10mm long screws, I'm having a dog of a time finding any that small. I need them to go into MDF so need a point on them.

Have you tried Screwfix ... tried to post the link but I can't as I haven't done 25 posts ... it has 3 w's at the start and dot com at the end ~x~

Mod edit: NAUGHTY NAUGHTY! a url in disguise still counts!!

You might be better of looking for them in inch sizes - they're still often sold that way. If half-inch is small enough, you should find those easily from all sorts of places.

For once, I agree - tillybalou was only trying to help. And after all, it's not as though it was her own site or anything!
                Cheers,

Thanks Scorch … In fairness though my first post in the Newbies section of the forum did however point directly to our website .

I do feel sad that I didn’t receive a welcome from anyone but maybe that’s because you all thought I was here to exploite your forum. If I had any doubts that was the case then it was confirmed by a couple of members asking for wholesale access to our website ingonito.

Believe me I have nothing to hide … I have worked in the Craft Industry for years and know how difficult it can be on so many levels. Some would see us as successful, selling to shops all round the country and to a degree this is true. The one thing I would say is that we have always looked after the small independents, turning down big contracts even to sell on an American Shopping Channel, in favour of supporting Independant British Shops who are willing to support British Designer/Makers.

The franchise opportunity I mentioned in my first post already has several people waiting for the contract to be drawn up by our solicitor … largely, these are people who know Tilly Ba Lou and can see the good deal they are being offered.

We could have gone to a Franchise website and sold the franchises for ridiculous amounts of money but in line with our ethos we wanted to be fair rather than cream money off and sit back, like many other companies do. We spend every weekend testing different types of Fairs so we can advise those interested in what does and doesn’t work.

Let’s face it I could have posted some random intro and gradually crept in the franchise opportunity but I wanted to be up front in what I truly believe is an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to take their craft further, with the confidence that they will make money on the fairs they attend.

Please … if you have any doubts or questions then please ask me directly and openly on forum. Like I said in my original post I hope that with all of the experience I have gained, I can be of help here too.

This is last time I will mention either my own website or the franchise opportunity ~x~

Sorry to hijack your thread Hanorac ~x~

Have you tried stores like B&Q, Wilkinsons, Wickes, Focus or local hardware stores?

                    Hope this helps
