  • Advice needed re. a blog giveaway

Hello, I have been blogging since March this year and have a small following

I am thinking of having a giveaway on my birthday (8th July), and am wondering what to offer. I'd like it to be something people would really want.

I do all sorts of crafts - knitting, crochet, felting, quilting, applique, cross stitch, sewing generally - I make bags, clothes, dolls, kids stuff - all sorts. Therein lies my problem - what do I pick?

If you were to choose something what would you like? (If you have a look at my blog you'll get some ideas of the kind of thing I do).

    Thanks for your help!

i think i would choose either one of your crochet (or are they knitted?) dolls, or one of the drawstring bags (like the wedding one), out of everything, they will have the widest appeal.

    hope that helps

I would also say a doll or bag. Personally, I would love one of your bags...

Thought I would take a quick peep at your blog and got hooked so spent ages looking at the older posts! Spoilt for choice really but those bags are very pretty so I'm going for those too.

Perhaps offer a choice from a couple of options - a crochet doll or a bag or something else etc.

There's then more flexibility for posters - as I know I haven't entered giveaways as I didn't want what was on offer (blush)

BUT I'd kill for one of your hoody boy dolls !!

Aw thanks guys! It's always nice to be appreciated.

I think since I'm really into bagmaking at the moment I will probably do a bag ... however being a girl I could change my mind yet

oh wow, i'm not a blog person but got hooked reading yours! You're so crafty, and gifted! No wonder you've got a following!

Ditto what everyone else has said, a bag or a doll. I've got a penchant for the doll though!!

Wow thank you, what nice comments!

I couldn't do a toadstool Sue, as it's not my design - they are made by LucyKateCrafts (can't do a link, not up to 25 posts yet) - we did a toadstool swap though and it was great fun!

                        LOL at the smiley pile!
