    Hi

I find the best thing to use for map papers are old road atles.
    Hope this helps.

Yep - look in your local charity shops as they will have loads of old Readers Digest atlas that they can't shift! I use those as well as old OS maps.

Sacre Bleu!! I just can't bring myself to cut up maps, atlases etc..... I love looking through old atlases to see how things have changed. I'd probably be using Find-a-Map from the OS website or google maps if it was me. With good quality paper and ink it would work well, especially if you want to target specific areas of the world.

You can buy really cheap last year road maps for about £2 which works out really cheap to make cards from - plus then you can pick the destinations!!

If you did do something yourself on the puter, you could personalise it, and change place names to something relevant to the individual

I've used internet map sites such as multimap and streetmap.co.uk to print maps of specific locations for cards - great for housewarming cards as it's really personal.
