... how I can attach these card hangers to the card? CARD HANGERS

At the moment i'm slitting a hole in the card at the top and pushing the ribbon through. Then tacking them with a bit of dbl sided tape on the inside of the card.

I want to make it a bit neater. Anyone have any suggestions? Can you tell i'm not a card crafter

Is there anything I could use to add a bit of detail (like a button or simialr?), which will also hold the ribbon and hanger on the card?

You could use a large brad to hang them off or use a button with wire fed through and secured by twisting the wire on the inside of the card.
If you are concerned about the inside of the card being a little untidy then add an insert to the inside of the card, a simple piece of co ordinating coloured paper cut slightly smaller than the base card should suffice to hide your chosen attachment technique.

Oh my goodness I'm sorry I am such a card making idiot I just automatically think people will know what I'm talking about.

A brad is a fancy name for a paper fastener. You push a hole through the card/paper and push the brad through and open up the little arms on the other side. You can get hundreds maybe even thousands of different types of brad heads, in every colour and size. Also different shapes etc. I'm afraid I am a brad freak and I have hundreds in my collection.

Heres a link to the Do crafts site so you can see some examples, Do crafts are not the best company or the only one but they do seem to be in every shop so they are easy to find!!

        Hope that explains better!!
