  • Sizzix Alphabet Dies

I have just purchased my first set of Sizzix alphabet dies from ebay and they came today. I did not realise that you got more than one letter on each die. My question is, how do you cut just the letter you need without cutting all the letters on the die therefore wasting card and ending up with a pile of letters you don't really want!

    Hello
What I do is cut small pieces of card that are slightly larger than the letter that you want to cut. Position the card/paper over the part of the die with the letter and then cut in the normal way.
    Works for me!

I agree - I do the same thing!
Lucky you having an alphabet set! I've virtually got everything but!

Yep, same here too. It's easier to have the die face up, place the card on top thenplace the mat on top of that, then turn it over to place in your die cutter

I have an alphabet set, but it seems to be a jumble of upper and lower case. Is this just one set, or are there others available that are either one or the other?

You get the whole lot in one set which covers both upper and lower case. You'll have to carefully select the letter you want cutting so you don't waste card on other letters!
