  • Cutting mats

I'm currently using a very old cutting mat which has got 'Magna' printed on it. Its about the size of 4 A4 sheets of paper and needs replacing as parts of it have become damaged due to cutting.

I've heard of invisible cutting mats which don't leave any marks but can't find anything on the net. Does anyone know the correct name for these and where I can buy one in London or online?

    Thanks

    M

Hi Misty, I have never heard of these. Do you mean "Self Healing Mat"
when you cut on the mat you can't feel where you have cut. they do ware out though over time. Like anything.

      Hi Sue

Yes that's exactly what I mean! No wonder I couldn't find anything on the net. Chears.

I know this might sound a bit skanky, but I got an A4 cutting mat from the 99p shop last month... was very pleased!

If you like it and it does the job then it doesn't matter where you got it from hehehe, wish mine had cost that! Mine's an A3 size, green, self healing mat which I think I got from one of the telly craft channels.
