  • Help.... Aperture Cards

I am hoping to make cards using some of my hubbies photographs for my next fair.... only trouble is I can't find any reasonably priced aperture cards. I'm looking for A5 size cards with just under a 4x6" aperture in white.

Have seen some on Ebay but they are around £3 for 5 cards... I need 30-50 cards..... can anyone advise a supplier.

You might find it quicker easier and cheaper in the long run to get something like the XCut Template cutter or Fiskars equivalent..

With the Xcut you get a set of frames which you can cut round the outer or inner edge using a blade in a carrier which slots on to the template, so easy to get accurate cuts. The link shows the basic set with Oval frames, but there are square and rectangle ones also..

Before you buy the X-Cut thingy, why not try a trip to Hobbycraft?
You could see if they have anything suitable within your price-range. They usually have a wide rande of pre-cut, pre-folded cards (including aperture ones).

I had some aperture cards a while ago from www.artymiss.co.uk they were really nice, mostly pearlescent with a good selection of colours (I chose the assorted colours, I think they did white too) and only cost £4.99 for 50!

The problem with artymiss is their stupid search facility, their illogical categories and that some things seem to be constantly out of stock! But worth persevering with them for the good prices!

        I hope you find some!

have you tried craft creations - they do a whole range of sizes and code their envelopes and clear bags so you know you're getting the right fit. The prices go down depending how many you buy
