Apparently "tin" is difficult to get these days, so aluminium has taken over.

How about flowers made out of tin foil or similar?

      Hi sunrise

Have you thought abought adding rusty tin heart embellishments?? If you type in "rusty tin" into that famous auction site begginning with" e," you should find some there, i did buy some off there in the past and was really pleased with them. Hope this helps

All I can think of is a bunch of flowers sitting in a shiny tin can, with a ribbon tied around the tin. Any help?

Great minds think alike either that or fools never differ
What about a vintage piccie of a cake tin or those little tins with sweets in?

Is he the one that got poked in his tummy and laughed, the Pillsbury dough man?!
Anyhoo, back to the question!!! How about doing some tin art? I think you get a piece of metal/aluminium/from a tin can, and then using a bluntish nail you hammer a design on the back and then turn it over. Or if you use a sharp nail you can poke your design through...you know like the garden lantern type things with candles inside? But you could make something an inch or so big and then mount it on your card...like a couple of hearts. Or you could get some metal charms and brad them on.
