  • Christmas Pressies

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and had time to enjoy the festivities with loved ones.

I just wondered if anyone had got any cardmaking goodies for Christmas, and if so, what you were lucky enough to get? Have you tried it out yet?

Is there anything specific that you're watching out for in the January sales to spend your Christmas money on?

I got a book to make little beaded animals which I love doing, so very pleased with that - although not a surprise as I gave my DH the link to the page on Amazon!

I've just ordered a Crop-A-Dile from QVC as I was waiting for them to be back in stock and they're a really good price on there, & DH said that can be a late Chrissie pressie

What about you? Did you get your Craft Robo? Or any other lovely goodies?

I got lots of crafty goodies which I'm really happy with, the main things being my Crop-a-dile, Xyron Personal Cutting Machine and Xuron Creative Station X510 - also got lots of other little things like scrapbooking papers, Papermania tote bag to keep my Crop-a-dile, etc in and some fancy embellishments, etc.

It's my birthday on Monday (29th) and hubby says that he'll take me shopping for my birthday, between dad and father in law I've had £80 Christmas money so I'm putting that towards my Craft Robo, and on the UK Scrappers forum I might have just found one for £100 including P&P so I'm just waiting for an email back.

We've got a quiet day today as my dad is poorly so he's not coming down until tomorrow so I'm spending the day playing with my new crafty goodies

ooh Fluffy it sounds like you have been very good this year and Santa brought you lots of crafty goodies. My Mom got me a huge box of bits with sizzix dies and embossing folders etc in it which was great but no one else dares to buy me crafty stuff as they think they will get the wrong thing!!

Just before Xmas I treated myself to a tote for my Bind it all machine so I've called that a Xmas pressie to myself!!

I haven't made any cards for ages and have shifted from card craft to jewellery making this year. I got some soldering equipment from my hubby, and an EZ Earring earwire making tool, which I can't wait to try, from my daughter.

Have a lovely birthday on Monday and enjoy playing with your new things.

I got a £15 gift voucher for Pullingers. I went there today and they are closed! LOL.

I didn't really get any craft stuff so to speak this year. I did get a dressing making form from Hubby and a book about making Art Journals from my brother.

I've since been on the Sizzix site because of their sale and spent £200 on dies though!

I didn't get anything to make jewellery with but I'm not particularly bothered about that because I generally buy whatever I want anyway as I do it for a living.

But I did get a stunning Fire Agate pendant and some gemstone books and a tiara making book which I'm really pleased about as my friend has asked me to make her tiara for her wedding in June and I've never done one before. Also bought OH a few books, mainly about the legends and folklore behind the stones and they're very interesting. He also got a PMC kit which he will use and when he's mastered it, he can buy me some clay and teach me so I can make something.

Today I bought myself a glass painting book for beginners and I'm gonna have a go at that.

PS for Laura - its my son's birthday the same day as your's.

Didn't get one solitary thing with a crafting element. However I did get a Wii fit so I can get working out until I can go bead shopping and get creating!!
