  • Pin Prick / Thread Cards

    Hi everyone,

I enjoy making thread / pin prick cards and was wondering if anyone would like to swap patterns or knows of any books / websites with patterns.

Sounds interesting! Do you just prick out a design on the card, or sew around it like you would embroider?

If so, searching with Google Images for the words you're interested in plus "stamp" or "stained glass" or "clip art", should give you lots of ideas!
    Cheers,

I did buy some templates for small pin prick patterns, but I found I was useless at it

I'd love to see other's though.

If you're still after some of these, Dawn Bibby is showing some on QVC today. They're brass stencils that you prick through and then sew. Have you found any you're happy with yet?

Hello Katie and to the forum. I've often fancied having a go at card pricking etc and even got out some books from the library on it, but as yet I haven't tried it. I look forward to seeing some of your work.
