  • Do you name your cards?

Especially those of you who sell them. If so, how do you think of names for them? I'm becoming a bit unstuck for names these days lol

I don't name my cards..I don't sell them these days..but I do name each of the colour collections on my CDs. After 6 CDs now and at least 15 each CD..it can get a bit hard! I name them random things sometimes..maybe you could try that too!!

i dont name my cards just store them in catergories such as female birthday etc i dont sell my cards should really as have so many but it might take my enthusiasm for making them away i did make a couple of birthday cakes for people a long time ago i got so stressed i made things go wrong so i think i will stick to doing it for the fun i have started making atc because i have such a big stock pile of cards and i needed another outlet for craft creativity

            Name my cards......NO
It wa hard enough thinking of names for our 3 kids!

but then again I don't have a website, and I must admit it does look nice when they have a name rather than just a reference number

Mine tend to end up with names that describe the design. At the moment I'm doing some elephants in Indian/ ethnic type fabric so they will be called "Indian Elephant" cards. I like to come up with names for my more abstract work too but it's not so easy. I find it's like writing poetry. It either just comes to you or you spend weeks agonising over it!

I have to say that I probably wouldn't bother naming them if I sold them at craft fairs or in shops etc, but as I sell all of mine on-line I do end up giving them some sort of name.

I actually name my little people toppers heheheheh!!!

But all my cards have names on my website - hopefully descriptive enough so when I have a sale I know what it is I've sold without having to go on my website to have a look!!

I don't name my cards, but then I don't really get to sell them unless someone makes a special request. I never thought of that idea, but then I'd rarely do 2 cards the same.
