Hope you don't mind me hijacking this thread slightly rather than start a new one.
When making parasoy which paraffin wax do you use?
Is it better to use straight unblended paraffin and add your own stearin, vybar (or leave it additive free)etc?
Should I use preblended paraffin wax?
Is container wax better or would this be too soft when mixed with the soy?
Thanks
David

Blending soy and paraffin is not difficult, especially if you're using it to make melts. Start with 50/50 and if you don't like the look, change it one way or the other until you are happy with it.
Treat it the same as any other wax. Heat to 80-85c before adding your fragrance, stir thoroughly but gently, allow to cool slightly, then pour.
