  • Scales???

I read somewhere that food scales are not as accurate as digital postal scales. What scales should I be using? Thanks

Have a look at Cali's recent thread about scales:
    http://www.craftsforum.co.uk/showthr...eighing-scales

It's not that food scales aren't accurate, just that they're not accurate enough for weighing small amounts like FO/EO, dyes or some additives. If you need to weigh anything less than a gram or 2.5g for example then food scales rarely break the weight down to small enough increments.

In Cali's thread is a link to some ideal (and easily affordable) scales perfect for weighing out your fragrances and dyes etc.

      Hi,
I went onto amazon and typed in 'presicion scales' and 'jewellery scales' I had a read of the reviews and made my choice that way. Didn't see the link to eBay til after I'd purchased but there's a good number to choose from and all seemed reasonable prices.
