  • Wicks for EcoSoya Wax

I am struggling a bit with wicks.
I am new to candle making and use EcoSoya Xcel wax and have been using WEDO ECO wicks but not sure I like them. Just testing a CSN one now.
What wick do you use with EcoSoya wax?
    Thanks!

I started with eco wicks but couldn't get a hot throw. I now use CSN wicks with better results.

The hot throw has been rubbish. I can smell the one I am burning now
What temp do you add your FO at? x

I use normal soy, container blend for tealights and just starting with jars so I'm not sure if what I say will help or not.

I use EMC tealight wicks from That Flaming Candle Company. I think they are cotton cored but can't quite remember. I've also used MP2 wicks from Full Moons Cauldron but not so keen on them because they're not as white and need trimmed. But both work well.

Re FO, I add it at 84 degrees C and cool to around 43 degrees before pouring. Hope this helps,

        Marion

I add fragrance at 80 and pour at 55.
