Using wax granules directly
Does anyone have any experience of using wax granules poured directly into a container and burned?
Saw these people at a home improvement show recently:

and it looked like a neat idea, but their prices seem remarkably high.
Can any old candle-making crystals be used in this way, or might there be something special about their product which makes it worth nearly £10/kg?
