    Hi all

I would like to make black candles, but i understand that this is impossible with soy wax. Has anyone made black soy candles.

    thanks

Never ever been able to do it like Ruby always turn out grey. I just accept that no matter what colour you want you will always get a pale shade in soy wax. Paraffin is the only medium I know that gives a nice deep black.

      Cheers.

This is a bit like trying to make a black bath bomb (or any really deep shade) because the mixture is white it's a bit lik trying to mix black paint with white paint and expecting it not to be grey paint - soya wax is the same because it's basically white wax so it's really hard to get a rich deep colour...I've had some black dye chips hanging around in my cupboard for years and never been able to get it right
