  • Room Sprays and Fragrance Oils

    Hi all again,
Are there any regulations involved in making your own room sprays and also fragrance oils for oil burners, if they are not for skin contact?
Can anyone point me to any information (trading standards etc) regarding necessary product safety label information? Would I just need to place an eye and skin safety warning on the room spray along with other common sense instructions?
    Thank you!

    Hi

I am not sure on that one.
I think (?) there are some limits re inhalation?

Phone your local trading standards office - they are very helpful.

They are there to help - not hound

      Hi Ruth

As far as I'm aware there are no regulations for room sprays as they are not cosmetics, same goes for the oils for oil burners.

As you've already said, just cover yourself with a warning label. Something along the lines of must not be used on skin, avoid contact with polished surfaces, etc
