What do people think of writing sets? Do you/would you use them? I'm thinking of making some with cheeky chicken designs but want to gauge if people would be interested.
Lined/plain paper? Plain would be easiest for me (!) and I'm thinking 2 sheets of paper to every envelope.
Anyway let me know what you think!

Yep I'd say go for it! I think they would do well!

As you saw last Sunday I do note sets - cards fairly plain but funky!!

Very funky and very handy I would say I thought about notecards but I fancy paper more. Hmmm some investigating to do!

Yep always get writing sets particularly for the kids. Would work great when the kids are due to start back school.

        Cheers.

Well, I remember you made the blue and white spotty writing set a while ago for a birthday present - why not do some of those as I think they'd be great! And they can be as funky as you want!!

Instead of adding a pad of paper, you could do some chicken (what else!) themed stamped paper - little logo at the top, and get pens etc the same colour to match the theme of the pack (pinks & whites or reds & blues etc).

And for the added special touch, you could personalise them with their name on the front (as long as its not too long!)

          Whatdythink?!

You and me are on the same wavelength! More thoughts in my head but no time at all to get cracking with them. Possibly in the new year!

Yes.. I like the idea of a writing set, 2 sheets of paper to each envelope is just "write"...LOL. Don't think writing notes will ever go out of fashion & much more personal than an email

Just remember that not everyone has a computer - and even if they have they can set the printer to the paper size so it could still be used.

I love stationery and I buy it for family but it's usually Nepalese handmade paper which is made into sets as it's readily available to me and seeing as I'm a lazy sort of soul :@( or don't have the time usually, I don't actually look around for them - but if I went somewhere and saw some, then I'd buy it.

                  Good luck with it.
