  • Removing paper stuck with glue

    I have a dilemna.
I have a drawing that has taken me hours and I've stuck it onto backing board using 'cardmaker's glue' (bought from Gadsbys) - I now need to remove the drawing from the backing board as it's risen in places and creased.
Once removed i can deal with flattening it.

As you can see I can't simply cut the backing board and need a way of dissolving or softening the glue, without damaging or affecting the paper, so that I can remove the drawing.

I thought steam immediately, but that would wrinkle the paper.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
Anything at all would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what to suggest other than ironing it. You could try photocopying the drawing just in case!!
