  • Outdoor Christmas Market

Need advise please from all of you who do outdoor street markets.

I have got a space at one in November and I have no idea what kind of lights I will need to get. Didn't even think about it till the clocks changed.

I have looked on the web for battery operated ones and the prices start at £40 for one!!! At this rate I will end up paying more for the lights than my table.

    Thanks in advance.

    Janice.

Sorry Janice I have no idea I would imagine you could get away with outdoor Christmas lights. Is it a stall you are getting? Remember to take plastic sheeting to put down either side of the stall to stop the rain and wind getting to your horseshoes.

    Cheers

Your first port of call should be to talk to the market organiser or inspector. There are rules and regulations about lights on market stalls. They have to have those secure plugs that look like barrels. It may be that the market can rent lights to you or will be able to advise a good source.
