  • Craftjuice Help

I have managed to upload one craft but that its. For some reason it wont pick up images from my website. I then tried to upload another image from photobucket but I couldnt because that url had already been used for my previous image.

Does anybody else have any trouble with it or is it just me as usual

Are your images copy protected? Mr M said something about if the images are protected then craftjuice won't pick them up - I think JBJB had that problem so she might be able to help you. If not then Mr M should be around at some stage so he might be able to help.

You can't add the same url twice... I would make sense as you can't vote twice on the same thing..

If you site has more than 1 item per page then you should consider changing your site as it make no sense to list more than 1 item per page..

      Hope that helps..

Would it work if you had a blog because then the pages will move?

I've encountered the copywrited photos and the Mr Sh*te one link per page thing.......

I have a cunning plan of how to get round it tho!!!!

I think that means that because all your photo's are on one page and because you can only link to a page once it won't recognise the same page again. Does that make sense? Do you have separate pages on your site for listing things? Rather than all your products on one page? You could try linking to your pictures through flickr or photobucket - I know flickr do separate pages for each photo - and then once you have the picture there you could write up about your product. It won't link to you site however but you could put something in your flickr photos to link back to your site.

Hope that makes sense - I've cut out and pinned together nearly 20 chickens tonight to get ready fo sewing tomorrow and my mind has gone numb!

Site architecture should always have a single url per item..

If you don't then you should consider changing your site.... Think of a book with only 1 page of a front cover and a contents page.. would be pretty boring lol..

caketopper You gallery to fine but you should explain what each cake topper is and what its for and when you made it.. Maybe add what your customer said...

              Blogs:
A blog url doesn't change.. All blog's have a thing called a permanant URL normally url of the date posted or the title of the post..

              Hope that helps..
