  • what thickness?

I want to cut out some card tags using my nestibility dies in my cuttlebug but want to use the thickest card I can. Does anyone know what the best thickness is to buy?

I have used nesties in my big shot to cut through 300gsm card but it will only do one at a time and depending on the type of card (fibres are different ) and the style of die it can take two runs through to get a clean cut. The more ornate the die the harder it is to get a clean first time cut using thicker card. Nesties sail through anything up to 250gsm with ease.

It's just a standard scallopped circle so nothing too intricate. I wanted something thicker than 250 but not as thick as chipboard

I have cut 300gsm scalloped circles easily enough, although nesties are not designed to cut through heavyweight card...for that you are better off with a BIGZ die they have a deep metal blade embedded in the foam and can cut through any card, chipboard, most fabrics, some metal and light wood
