Help with printing onto fabric from my printer ...

    Hi,

I need some help in knowing what transfer paper I'd need to be able to print from my printer onto a light coloured linen? I think I'd just be printing black. I want to transfer an image my daughter has drawn (basically a stick dog ) onto some key fobs I'm making.

I would what I thought was the correct paper but it gives that plasticy finish youget on T-shirts. All I need is the black print onto the fabric.

    Any tips gratefully received.

    Many Thanks !
    Laurie

I use my laser jet to print directly onto linen and cotton fabrics. If the fabric is too thin to feed through the printer I find 'stiffening' the leading edge with hairspray works well. Make sure the cutting of the linen is clean with no stray threads.
I have also used my inkjet for coloureds and it works really well
TOP TIP... always practice print on paper first so you dont waste your fabric
