  • clothespin dollies (aka peg dollies)

i have made a few clothespin dollies, for my granddaughters and they love them, at the moment they are hung up from ribbons or lying down but i would like them to stand up, i have seen on various sites little round wooden stands to pop the ends into but they are in USA or Australia, does anyone know of a supplier in the UK please.
    thanks for reading this,
    regards pat

    Couple of ideas:

I think I've seen these in hobbycraft. Not sure though, and maybe only as part of a kit. May be worth a look.

Better idea: If you ask on the wood section on here, maybe someone will be able to make some for you?

Are these the old fashioned wooden pegss? with a split shaft and a round head bit? If so the bases sshould be easy enough to make. How many do you need?

        peg dolls

Thanks Wendy there is a hobbycraft in the next town, i usually go there for my craft items however they are such a large and busy shop i only go to the area that i know has the items i want, i will go on a quieter (if there is such a thing) day and browse the other parts of the shop, who knows i may be inspired to take up another hobby besides bag making, jewellery and peg dolls, (my long suffering hubby will divorce me)

          peg dolls

Thanks Pete, i am going to try for them at hobby craft first, as i need 20 to start with to stand the granddaughters dolls up, and i may be making more for my craft stall in the new year as granddaughters friends have admired them i may be able to sell some,
