Free Standing Shelf Unit to plonk on my table at Craft Fayres to display my wares ...

Can anyone suggest where I can get something like this for not a huge amount of money ? I don't mind buying something raw and painting it

I suppose it depends on how big you want the shelves to be. I was at a craft fair recently and the girl there was using the wooded CD storage boxes from IKEA that she painted herself. Looked great!

Not exactly sure what you are after but I bought a shabby chic clothes hanging rail from a seller on ebay, I would highly recommend them. I's either paint something or try a boot fair I think. Freecycle is good but often hard to find specific items.

My local freecycle is now called freegle, maybe others are doing the same?

I'm not sure of the politics behind it, but an email said the freecycle owner had dollar signs in his eyes.

I'm sure you'll find something if you trawl the charity shops though, especially if you're up for a bit of painting.

Alot of charity shops have specific outlets only for furniture, might be worth a look on yell or in a local newspaper at the free listings.
