looking for metal bookmarks...help!

Hi

does anyone know where I can buy the metal type bookmarks that I can attach beads/charms to? We generally make jewellery but would like to add a few of these to our range.

Hi - some craft / bead shops have them (and ebay) but you might have to shop around a bit for a good price!...

I had never heard of metal bookmarks until about three months ago. Someone here makes them out of copper sheets - not too thin, not too thick...somehow punches a hole in the top and ties a leather strip through, with a bead or two on it, and uses a gold metallic paint of some sort to draw some small stars on them...and they're very attractive! But I've always wondered about sharp edges.

I recall the bead shop to be VERY expensive for these (and other things actually) ebay would be the best bet I reckon.

They have lots of different types and reasonable prices. P&P is pretty reasonable at £2 or free over £45.

Oh, those are different from what I have seen at some markets here - someone was making them out of flat copper like a card stock bookmark...with a hole in the top for ribbon...yours are very nice, I like 'em! =)

Jillybeads sell them in different shapes. I think they are under Findings - Miscellaneous. I have bought from them before and they are a very good company. I have also bought them from ebay before too.
