Ikea do them but I think TKMAXX are cheaper, most websites I googled are about converting them rather than making them but I will keep my thinking cap on

        Hi

        What sort does she want?
        Glass
        Silver
        Pottery
        Wood
        Plastic

        3 prong
        5 prong
        7prong

It would be easier for us to find if we knew just what she wanted.

I have just been through this with my friend (October 2009 Wedding!!)..

You can hire in some nice ones, but by the time you allow for delivery etc it is not cheap..

The cheap, but naughty option is to pop in to IKEA and buy them, and after the wedding, return them (within 90 days) no questions asked..

Otherwise the cheap and cheerful home stores often have inexpensive ones (Wilkinsons, TJ Hughes, TK MAX, The Range) that can be pressed in to service and/or tarted up to match the general decor..

Another consideration is to use an arrangement of different height candles - again, IKEA is a good source of pillar candles in various heights for a couple of £'s each.. cover an old table mat with plain wrapping paper to contrast, or blend in with the table covering and you have a stable base to stand them on too - or put a couple of nails/screws through for added security.

Depending how many are needed, and how "crafty" you are, you could also make simple branched tealight chandeliers using sturdy wire and some cheap glass holders.. just make a loop at one end to put the holder in, then bend and shape the wire to suit.. you could either fill cheap glass vases with sand or something similar to support the wire holders, or bind (and perhaps solder) a few of them together with thinner wire to make a sturdy stem that could be fitted in the neck of a decorative bottle..? If the wire is a little too plain, there are spary paints in gold silver and the like..

there is a florists warehouse near me that sell them and other table decorations, as far as i can remember they were around the £10 mark. Is there a florists wholesalers near you that you could go to have a look at?

otherwise i dont mind going up there and having a look at what they have for you
